Join Jessica for this introductory yoga class for children ages 5-11. Designed to improve overall fitness, body and health awareness, concentration, focus, respect and self-confidence in kids, it will also give them ideas for keeping calm. Children should wear comfortable clothes, bring a yoga mat and water bottle. Class length is 45 minutes long and may incorporate a hands on activity after class related to the "theme" of the class, this might be a simple craft project done at the studio, or at home, or an act of kindness "assigned" as homework. While parents are encouraged to drop their children off at the studio, we do have have limited space to sit and watch.

Jessica Linderman is a Yoga Ed certified instructor and a LLMSW (limited license master social worker). She is passionate about bringing social and emotional life skills to children, and practices what she teaches, incorporating mindfulness and yoga in her own personal journey to wellness.
