Come learn new ways to tune into your own body, focusing on posture, balance and subtle shifting of your energy. This workshop will be led by Scott and Hung from the Yushinkan Dojo in Grand Rapids. Although both have a background in the martial arts, this workshop will not include any martial arts techniques, instead it will draw from the mindfulness/awareness side of their martial arts practice (Ukemi) and will teach you new ways to tune in, to let go of tension in your body and positively impact your health and well-being. During the workshop we will be partnering with others to learn how to better "listen" through a light touch, and to observe and report back from the outside.
